Tonight I had my pix all lined up [ "Beast From Hollow Mountain" circa 1956 ] but Picasa went on the blink after publishing a foray on Wild Bill Hickok and his sidekick better known as Andy.
The [ missing ] link is that Guy Madison sans Andy starred in the above mentioned title. Sci-fi run amok in the west. A prehistoric creature appears out of nowhere [ possibly the advent of global warming ] and begins terrorizing the townspeople.
I remember seeing it in high school on "Afternoon 'B' Movies" which may have been hoisted, er, hosted by Bestoink Dooley. "Afternoon" should have been entitled, "Why Aren't You Studying?" and was sponsored by "Burger King." Back then I had never sampled a "Whopper" and it looked so good and inviting. Plus, I was hungry after learning my abc's. Now there's one on every corner, but when yours truly was going to Rowdy High, that was not the case.
Sorry about "Beast From Hollow Mt." Tomorrow's another day. Apologies to Scarlett O'Hara.
P.S. I also wanted to include a foray from Ed Koch concerning Cindy Sheehan.
