A McDonald's burger back in the day cost $.15. "Buy 'em by the bag." Ray Kroc [ beginning picture in tonite's foray ] bought-out the McDonald boys for 2.7 million. Mickey D's began in 1954. That same year or thereabouts he wrote Walt Disney in hopes of including his new fast-food concept in Walt's new theme park: "Disneyland." Alas, Ray never heard back from the Donald Duck creator.
