I'm gettin' tired of driving up the same old strip....
I used this picture a few weeks ago. After posting I noticed this l.p. [ long-playing ] was recorded in mono. No, not the disease, but as opposed to stereo. Hard to imagine but throughout the decade of the 60's, albums could be purchased in stereo or mono.
Why?
Because stereo was the incoming "new" thing and not everyone was privy to the new sound via a stereo system.
Time flies when yer havin' fun, eh?
