"The Thing From Another World" was supposed to be on TCM tonite. Preceded by sci-fi flicks from the 50's. The ones well-chronicled in the Pond. Kitty was to tape them for me, but, alas, they were showing "Funny Girl," instead, with the delightful and charismatic Babs Streisand. How in hades did this happen? I wanted to see James Arness as the angry alien carrot from another world. Plus, it stars character actor extraordinaire, Kenneth Tobey. The Pond may have to shoot out an angry e mail in retaliation.
