A Tip of the Cap to the Hootster!

Was it synchronicity that reared its head and allowed my friend, hootsbuddie, to catch a interview foray with George Romero on NPR. The vibe Shirley made him send me the link, so the Pond could approve and peruse.

George Romero made "Night of the Living Dead," a cult classic, on the weekends. The locale: Pittsburg, Pa. Who'd a thunk it?

Armed ( pun unintended ) with a low budget, the movie made millions and catapulted Romero into the limelight.

Thanks, Hoots. Here's Johnny, er, Barbara! "They're coming to get you, Barbara!" Farewell and adieu, v.c.

P.S. Not sure why Hoots would send me info about an old movie from back in the day. Will scratch my head on this one.
