Yours truly actually saw this picture back in the day. And if memory serves, halfway through this flick we, the audience, had to be evacuated from the building. Seems someone had called in a bomb threat. After checking the auditorium, the bomb squad let us return so we could see the exciting conclusion. The story line: The film starts out with a scene of a man driving down a deserted country road. An unseen entity appears in the road and the truck crashes. The next day, we learn that River View High School student Carol’s father didn’t come home last night....
Well, after the “dead” spider has been transported to the school awaiting transfer to a laboratory for analysis, when the spider is revived by rock and roll music
