It was the best game I've ever seen in person. And also the worst The Chop was back reminiscent of days of yore, circa 1991 through 1995. The call sucked-220 foot infield fly rule. Bullship! The lack of sportsmanship duly noted. It made us look bad. Once the first bottle sailed through the air, it didn't take long for the subsequent deluge. Thankfully, no one got hurt. It is something I weill never forget. As a long suffering Braves fan-we always seem to be the bridesmaid-it's not difficult to understand the crowd's frustration. But at 60 I can't condone it. Hope your rocking steady, Rock. And how bout them Cowboys, er, Texans? And Atlanta at 5-0 too. After Friday night's debacle, I'm swearing off devotion to any team. I have haddock, er, had it.
P.S. Joe Torre's press cnference after the game made me ill. He took up for the umps and said it was the right call. Say it ain't so, Joe!
