Zany madcap movie with an all star cast. Make that ALL-STAR CAST! Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack lemmon, Joe E. Brown, and George Raft as the bad guy. Loosely based on the "St. Valentines Day Massacre" in which rival gangs of the Depression have a slight misunderstanding. Saw it with Ali, Grandma Pitty, and me mum at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Even as a kid I was mesmerized by the handprints and footprints of the Stars. I think that night I remarked to myself: "Self. You will one day write a blog called 'Golden Pond,' and your life will never be the same again." Gimme shelter, v.c. P.S. Directed and written by Billy Wilder. P.S.S.
